Artist City, State, Country: London, England, UK Artist Bio: Amidst an empty Hollywood apartment, Julian Gonzalez Kitzing (Costa Rica), hung over and looking for direction, birthed the idea for The Road Atlas. Hailing from both sides of the Atlantic, The Road Atlas came together in London, UK in 2016. After teaming up with legendary Costa Rican band, The Movement In Codes, Kizting recorded what would be The Road Atlas’ first EP, 'Tall Tales.' Shortly after, Julian was joined by Meg Cherry on bass (Italy). Meg started bringing her songs into the band, making her the second songwriter and singer in the group. After countless lineup changes, Aryanne Maudit (Italy) joined on lead guitar and Ableton programming. To complete the lineup Warren Johnson (USA) joined in 2019, on drums and as executive producer, and as the recording for the two part “In the Fast Lane” began, completing an invaluable addition to the band’s sound. Blending old school punk rock influences with contemporary sounds, The Road Atlas has taken London by storm, playing shows and writing hits that will lead the listener on a wanderlust journey, dragging along a suitcase full of aspiration. With the current Covid-19 situation worldwide, The Road Atlas hasn’t slowed down. They have released a video for their single “Digging Graves” in November of 2020, and have recorded two EP’s. The first release, 'In the Fast Lane Vol.1' was released Dec 4th 2020, with Vol. 2 close behind in 2021. Both are charged with six electrifying and catchy songs. The tunes have an anthemic quality to them, that creates energy in execution. The Road Atlas’ music encourages you to get out of your comfort zone in life by making changes to better yourself. In their spare time Meg and Julian, even host their own streamed podcast, “Lightning Struck” featuring videos from bands and artists from all over the world and live shows are going on monthly.
